“When we turned up the tour wasn't fully booked so had the opportunity to ride a Monster 1100S, Hypermotard, Monster S4R, 1098S, GT1000, and an ST3 over five days.
Rode on so many fantastic roads through Volterra, Vinci, Siena, Abetone, etc etc more corners in one day than you could ride in the hills in one month or more.
Joe Charity of Ducatitours was a great guide and one hell of a rider, and host when we stopped at various Trattorias, and Cafes for coffees and lunches.
All the bikes were in top condition. Although the 1098S was a fantastic bike to ride is was more suited to open roads with sweeping corners. I found the Hypermotard the most fun on the mountain roads and was a great pillion bike.
The trouble is I'm now seriously hooked, and would go back to Italy tomorrow to experience more of the roads."
